Welcome to the SPARC Topic Group on Miniaturised Robotics
SPARC is the name of the public-private-partnership in Robotics, between the European Commission and the European, academic and industrial, community in Robotics. More information...
WIthin SPARC, Topic Groups are the instrument to provide content to the Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) and the multiannual Roadmap (MAR) of euRobotics AISBL. More information...
The Topic Group on Miniaturised Robotics was created to coordinate the activities related to the scaling down of robotics. Miniaturised robotics refers to any of the following:
- Robots with a global size below 10cm
- Robots handling objects smaller than a 1 mm
- Robots having a precision better than 0.1 mm
- Robots making use of micro/nanotechnologies either in its fabrication or application
The Topic Group organizes workshops, most often at the yearly European Robotics Forum. See the News section.
