ANR JCJC Research Project
MoSoBot explores a new generation of Modular Soft Fluidic Robots (SMFR) integrating embedded sensing technologies. The project aims to design, fabricate and control soft robotic modules capable of adaptive manipulation, safe human interaction, and operation in complex environments.
Unlike traditional rigid robots, soft robots deform continuously. This makes precise control difficult. MoSoBot addresses this challenge by integrating distributed sensing directly into soft actuators to enable real-time feedback control.
